WoW Engineering Guide
This guide provides you the cheapest and the quickest way to level Engineering. It uses schematics obtained only from vendors and trainers. So you won't go through the whole world to get rare schematics and got 2 more points in your skill. To get the information about specific recipe (its source) you can click on its title.
At skill level 200 you can choose one specialization – Gnomish or Goblin Engineering. There is no great difference between them so you can choose one you like more. Goblin engineers are focused on creating bombs and combat items while Gnomish are specializing on trinkets and utility items.
The ultimate profession pair for Engineering is mining. You can save a lot of gold by gathering and smelting metal bars yourself, not buying them from Auction House.

| This one becomes yellow at 440 so you will may need to craft more than 10 of them to get 10 skill ups. | ||
You have to get only 5 points more to reach 450 but it can be a real trouble. Gnomish Army Knife is now green so you may have to create 10 or 30 of them to get 250 – it depends only on you luck. The only alternate way is to create 5 epics which are Bind on pickup so you can't sell them while materials for epics can be very expensive. Keep in mind that you can combine different epics, for example may 2 x Armored Titanium Goggles and 3 x Electroflux Sight Enhancers. Let list all possible recipes which can get you to 450.
